Thurs 5/31 Not that bad

The weather did not turn out that bad but on the cool side with very light misty rain if you want to call it that. Made it out both trips, fishing the same picking shorts and the occasional keeper mixed in with the pool fish going 5 lbs.. Those that work at it will produce. Morning trip was better then the afternoon trip but at least we got out. Sailing every day, rain or shine, as long as enough show up to go. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics.

Weds 5/30 Cold again but birthday boy did it

From warm one day to cold the next, will it never end. Fog and easterly breezes made it on the cool maybe cold side today. We made the best of the conditions we had and put together a catch. A little 8 yr old showed everyone up but boating 2 keepers and winning the pool. Great day for him since it was also his birthday.  On the afternoon it was the same, picked some shorts and a few keepers but it was on the cold side.  Here are a few pics and thanks for looking in.

Tues 5/29 More fluke

Another very n ice day with light winds and nice temps. Morning started off a little slow picking only shorts, but then the fishing picked up with several fishermen getting 2  keepers some one  but no limits, witch is not bad for half say fishing. The afternoon fishing was about the same wit a couple less keeper fluke but it stayed very nice on the water with a gentle cool breeze. Hope see you soon and still sailing 2 trips, seven days a week. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Sun/Memormial day Monday - it's not easy

First of all, I want to thank all of our veterans that have served during the war(s). We made it out on an ugly Sunday with rain and cold easterly winds that did gust up to 30 mph. That being said it was not a good day, fishing or otherwise, although we only did the morning trip. Much nicer today, but cool, as we we picked at some shorts and keepers, some anglers getting one or two and some none. On the afternoon trip Ray Stanislawcyk( not sure of the spelling),whose father used to own the Falcon, got his limit and the pool. Back at it tomorrow which sounds like a beauty of a day so hope to see you soon. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics. Btw, we will be running a monthly and season pool starting in June.

Sat 5/26 Anotlher beauty

We had a another nice day on the water with less wind, caught some fish everywhere we tried but not a lo. Mostly shorts with a keeper here and there. Some anglers with 2, one and some only shorts. (Chicken) Mike took his limit  out of the four he caught for the day, two in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. We only had one brief shower on the water but then it came down after we docked. Sailing today, and every day as the only things that stop us from going out is not enough to go or too much wind. You can always give me a call and save a trip if you are not sure. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Thurs/Fri reports - Bass fizzeled and now Its Fluke time

We had a tough on Thursday as most of the other party boats. Did manage a keeper on both trips but not much else besides dogfish, skates and sea robins.  Fluke opened today and it was a very nice day picking at shorts and keepers. No limits in the morning but some with two and in the afternoon, teacher Bob took his limit (3) out of the four the caught and the pool, way to go Bob. Sailing every day, 7 days, including holidays on the half day schedule @ 8 AM & again @ 1:30 PM.  Thanks for looking in and here are the pics.
