Fri 4/26 Kicked Bass this AM Limit plus (last year)

    We had a good trip finally this morning boating more fish than customers and would have had a boat limit plus if we had last years regs (28 -38") not the 28 - 31 that we have this year, as all the fish were 32 - 38" UGH! It was a shame but the folks had fun as some had 1 to 3 fish. Had just enough to go in the afternoon but we could not repeat it. Looks like the fish are starting to turn on. Sailing 2 trips every day now so hope to see you on the dock. Thanks for looking in and here are the pics of some of the fish.

Tues 4/23 We are done (with maintenance), Sailing Weds afternoon

    We took  couple of days off to catch up on some unfinished work since the fishing was so slow but sounds like they caught some today. So now we will be sailing tomorrow, Weds 4/24  afternoon trip, and then we will be going 2 trips every day there after @ 8 AM - 12:30  and again @ 1:30 PM -6. Fishing for stripers so bring a rod you can cast with. Thanks for looking in.

Sat/Sun 4/20 & 21 Reports

     The fishing(catching) over the weekend was terrible, even the charter boats that troll had a tough time for whatever reason.  Therefore we will take few days off to do some maintenance and by the end of the week we will start a daily, every day schedule sailing twice a day @ 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM for striped bass until the fluke season opens on May 4, switching to fluke(summer flounder). Tues 4/16 Another nice day

  Again  it was  a beautiful day weather wise but the fish did not think so. We catch an over at 34" that went back so we did not bother to sail today or will not sail tomorrow. Weather permitting we will try on Friday  3/4 day, @ 7:30 AM. Saturday and Sunday we will do our 2 trip half day schedule sailing @ 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM. After that we will see  how it goes. A beautiful Monday 4/15 Sailing Tues

    We went out with a handful, only because a few others that were supposed to come did not. The weather could not have been better but the fishing sure could have. Tried a few different areas and saw only a few fish caught. We will go out again tomorrow with the nice weather sailing @ 7:30 am. Thank for looking in.

Sunday 4/14 A few big ones

     We got out this morning with a light crowd despite all the calls I got. On the4 first drift we boated two beauties but they were too big, Krissys @ 35"  and another at 39". Thought it was the beginning of a good day, but that was it until late in the day. Again fish that were  over the size limit (28" -31")but it was action. The water is still very brown and it could be warmer, hope we see an improvement soon. BTW our pool rule is the first fish is the pool fish if we do not boat a keeper after that. Fri 4/12 Not sailing tomorrow Sat 4/13

    Due to the  high wind forecast we will not be fishing tomorrow, Sat 4/13. See you Sunday or Monday, thanks for looking in.

Mon/Tues reports Still slow

    Although the weather was nice we went out with only handful both days and only caught a couple of fish. Our next trips will be Sat(weather permitting), Sunday and Monday, 3/4 day leaving @ 7:30 AM to 2:30.  By the end of next week we will start a daily schedule, 2 half day trips if the fish move closer. Sun 4/7 Little better and sailing Mon & Tues

    The weather was better and the fishing a little better too. Far from good but we caught more than yesterday and saw more caught. With the next two days being nice we will be going out. Don't forget there will be a solar eclipse tomorrow as a bonus. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you.

Sat 4/6 The old saying

     As they say, if you don't expect much you wont be disappointed. We did not and it was true as we had a tough day that was cold and breezy. Did a lot of looking but came up short as did most boats. The few people we had fished hard in the muddy water with only one happy camper. Back at it tomorrow to hope things change and hope to see you tomorrow. Thanks for looking in.

Thurs 4/4 2024 Spring Stripers Sat and Sun 4/6 & 7

    We will begin our season on Saturday 4/6 and Sunday, only sail the weekend. It will be a 3/4 day trip leaving @ 7:30 AM back around 2:30 -3 PM. Jigging with shads so bring you spinning rods or rent them on the boat. The following weekend we will start a daily schedule so stay tuned. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you on the dock.

Weds 1/3 Blackfish report and that's it folks

         Only a few showed up to go but we went anyway for our last trip of the season with the upcoming weather. Good action with short blackfish with keepers mixed in. Paul was high hook on keepers catching his limit (now 4) while others had a couple or just shorts, but everyone caught fish. This was our swansong and hope to see you in the spring. Tues 1/2 / 24 you going ? Sailing Weds 1/3

    Had a couple of calls yesterday asking if we were going, I said yes but nobody showed up.  Had a few calls for tomorrow so we will try again and it may be the last trip of the season. Mon 1/1 /24 Nice day

      It was a nice day on the water but a little on the chilly side, but it is January. Picked at the black fish on different spots, some  better than others,  mostly shorts and a some keepers but not as good as yesterday. See what tomorrow brings as I had a couple of calls.
