Mon/Tues 4/29 & 30 Looking foward to fluke

We had another tough day on Monday morning not being able to land any fish but we did on the afternoon trip. This morning was also slow as we were the only party boat to make it out in the cold breeze and fog but not enough for the afternoon. The fish are being trolled and some live lined but most are over the size limit. No matter what happens we will be switching to fluke on Saturday May 4. NOT sailing Friday 5/3, afternoon trip, only the morning trip. PS did anyone leave a pair of camo boots on the side walk, they were still there from yesterday.  Thanks for looking in.

Sun 4/28 Not like yesterday

Had a nice group show up and was hoping to please, but of course it did not turn out that way. Did a lot of looking but with all the boat traffic it did not make it easy. The afternoon, though, we did put a few in the boat.  Little Maclan at 6, did boat his first striped bass at 36" but of course it had to go back. Back at it tomorrow and hope things improve. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon.

Sat 4/27 AM Another good striper day

When we went out this morning  the boats were already complaining of no fish or readings. Looked around the same areas where we had fish yesterday but only saw bait readings. As we were running out of time I got a report so we blasted off and got a good shot of fish, but as yesterday the fish were all too big and had to go back but the action was great for time it lasted. We put in a little OT but it was worth it. Not enough showed for the afternoon trip but we will be there in the morning. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics of some of the fish.

Fri 4/26 Kicked Bass this AM Limit plus (last year)

We had a good trip finally this morning boating more fish than customers and would have had a boat limit plus if we had last years regs (28 -38") not the 28 - 31 that we have this year, as all the fish were 32 - 38" UGH! It was a shame but the folks had fun as some had 1 to 3 fish. Had just enough to go in the afternoon but we could not repeat it. Looks like the fish are starting to turn on. Sailing 2 trips every day now so hope to see you on the dock. Thanks for looking in and here are the pics of some of the fish.

Sat/Sun 4/20 & 21 Reports

The fishing(catching) over the weekend was terrible, even the charter boats that troll had a tough time for whatever reason.  Therefore we will take few days off to do some maintenance and by the end of the week we will start a daily, every day schedule sailing twice a day @ 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM for striped bass until the fluke season opens on May 4, switching to fluke(summer flounder). Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon.

Tues 4/16 Another nice day

Again  it was  a beautiful day weather wise but the fish did not think so. We catch an over at 34" that went back so we did not bother to sail today or will not sail tomorrow. Weather permitting we will try on Friday  3/4 day, @ 7:30 AM. Saturday and Sunday we will do our 2 trip half day schedule sailing @ 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM. After that we will see  how it goes. Thanks for looking in.
