Billy did his thing on the first drift and limited out with his 3 fluke, 2 slots and a keeper that was also the pool fish. Maybe cause he was dressed like a gulp, red shirt and shorts with bright green socks, What ever it takes. Sounds good right, no it was just him but another guy did get two keepers. Not many other fish kept just shorts even though we ventured out to check out other areas. The afternoon was even slower although we did have a nice breeze. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics. Sailing every day, 7 days, no reservations needed and we do not take charters.

Tues 7/19 Beat the heat and a limit
We had a very nice westerly breeze all day that gave us a decent drift. Although one side of the boat got warm the other had shade and the breeze, so we had to turn the boat around every so often. "Rod" we call him, you can guess why, got his 3 fish fluke limit and Bill had two and a few one along with a pick of shorts. On the afternoon trip old Artie finally got his pool fish after catching 11 shorts as we fished and drifted one side of the boat so everyone was in the breeze. Other keeper fluke on the boat as well. Another note, not saving spots on the back corners or pulpit, if you want the spots then get down early. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Monday 7/18 A little better
The weather people must have scared off most of the fishermen but we got out on both trips, only a handful in the afternoon. We tried another area and had a few more keepers with one limit by Jay, including the 5 lb pool winner, Ben got his two and Marty a keeper and a nice porgy with a few other keepers around the boat. On the afternoon trip we had Mel with two keepers including the pool fish and John had two, with only a few people Jeremy got a keeper and yours truly did also fishing with his rod. Couple of other keepers boated so not a bad day. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics. Any questions please call me, don't face book me. I put 100 % into catching you fish and doing reports so I don't have time to e-mail or face book people.

Sun 7/17 Rod rentals rule and what a difference
It was a surprisingly low turnout after last Sunday's on both trips with just enough to go gout in the afternoon. The morning trip stared out with the first three keeper fluke being caught on rod rentals, obviously not experienced fisher girls. Had the guys shaking their heads. Caught a few more in other areas along with a pick of short fluke. Caught some more in the afternoon, both keeper and short fluke but not good with a very young lady out catching some of the experienced guys. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.
Sat 7/16 Slow AM better PM
Another tough morning and the slow drifting conditions did not help. Picked at short fluke and some keepers along with the dogfish sharks, sea robins and skates, at least there was some action. On the afternoon trip the drift was better and we caught more fish, with double the amount of keeper fluke but still not enough to go around but it was a nice cool afternoon with only one little rain shower. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics. Sailing every day, 7 days with no reservations and charters not taken.

Friday 7/15 Nicer weather
The weather was a little cooler and so was the fishing(catching). Picked at some short fluke and a few keepers on both trips but at times the dogfish(sand sharks) got annoying. On the morning trip the beginners did better than the experienced. The afternoon trip proved to be a little better with Paul getting the pool with one of his two keeper fluke and Shawn also got two. We are starting to see more fish in different areas but mostly shorts. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Thuea 7/14 A warm one
We had a light breeze in the morning that made it comfortable and we picked away at shorts and a keeper in one area. Went off to another and had a couple of more keeper fluke right away, one man getting two. Worked the area and ended up with one limit of 3 by Ron, Art with two and the pool, another guy with 2, some one and some just shorts. The afternoon trip was a little slower as we lost the current and breeze, which is unusual for a hot afternoon. Finally picked up as did the current and we picked at some more fluke and small dogfish sharks. Jim got his two keepers and Kelly(2nd pic better) got his two and the pool Reservations not needed but if you have a group come down early and we do not take private charters. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.
