Weds /Thurs 5/17 & 18 Whales, dolphins, Fluke and a striper today

We managed to to get out both trips yesterday despite the high winds and tough conditions where we were restricted to fish. Put some keeper fluke fluke and shorts in the boat on the morning trip, but at least it was not rough where we were.  In the afternoon it was even harder but we did get a couple of keepers and shorts. Today was better as three guys were in the hunt for the board of three keeper fluke since they had two and there were others with one and a few with only shorts. Again the afternoon was a little tougher but we did manage a few keepers and shorts along with a 42" striper that had to go back. The high light of the afternoon was a nice whale show along with dolphins that we saw on the way out and also at at the end of the day.  Thanks for looking in and here are some pics. Sailing every day, 2 trips, in the usually calm waters of sandy hook bay.
