We had a tough morning on Weds as did a lot of boats as we tried everywhere inshore and off shore. On the afternoon trip we tried other areas more local and ended up in a little better shape with some keeper fluke and better short action. Today we tired where we caught them a few days ago but no good so we took the run and had a good first drift, but then not much after that as the south wind picked up and the current ran against it making it hard to hold bottom. Roger took the pool with a 4.83 lb fish that now leads the monthly pool, just beating out Andy who had 2 including a a 4.77( the 9.2 lb fish was not in it). Rick took the August pool as that 6.2 lb fish were not in it. A few other nice fish were caught but not a lot of short action. Don't forget we are running our 6 ;hr trip tomorrow, Friday, not the two half day trips, from 8 AM to 2 PM. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.
