For any of you old timers like me, not that I want to admit it, election day was a kick off for cod fishing but instead we had another great day of striper fishing limiting out on keeper stripers (28 -31") by10 AM along with a some over the size limit and over the one per person limit, so every one went home with fish. The weather was not the best with 25 to 30 mph winds but it was not bad with the wind with the tide, current. Yes it was rolly but not terrible and the fish chewed. Young Steve may have been high hook with 8 fish, but I believe everyone caught, if not then it was their own fault cause the fish were there and hungry. The heavier shads worked the best so don't bring light spin rods and the fish are up to 40" like the one Shawn caught. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some of the fish because of the action we do not have the time and space on on the website. Sailing every day @ 7:30 AM.
