We went down to where we ended up yesterday and caught fish right away but also had quite quite a few hang ups in the rocks the first drift. Stiffer rods help in getting out of the rocks, and keeping the sinker a little off the bottom also helps. Very good action all day but mostly short fluke and sea bass along with skates until the drift picked up. We ended up with a decent amount of keeper fluke and sea bass with Rick taking the pool, with one of his two keepers, and now leading the monthly pool with his 5.72 lb beauty. Back at it tomorrow but on the half day schedule and will probably work the more local grounds, that also produce fish when conditions are right. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.
