We were the only boat to shape up and get out, but at least it was not a handful of fishermen. Weather people screwed up again as they predicted rain in the afternoon but we had a mist all morning that made it annoying. It was a little rolly once we cleared the lee of the hook but not rough. Tried a couple of areas to only catch a few short fluke and then found an area that produced decent action of short fluke, some catching 10 or more, and some keepers as Artie from Toms river shined catching his limit and also taking the pool. Better action than I expected on a day like today. Chris said he had 17 shorts along with his keeper. Not sailing tomorrow, Thurs, and probably not Friday morning ,anyway, see what the afternoon looks like. Who knows what will be in the ocean after this blow, but at least we have other areas to fish. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some of the fish.
