Not a lot down for the boats, maybe the forecast or the fishing, but we started out in an area we have fished before, and were surprised at a nice pick of shorts, a new batch of fish moved in. The definition of insanity does not apply to fishing, trying or doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. We tried a couple of other areas looking for some keeper fluke but only managed a pool fish by Pat Lamb, but at least there was some action. On the afternoon trip we got a small group of mostly regulars and decided to try another area and it payed off. A nice pick of short fluke along with some keepers with Bob (Bob-o) Kubiak getting his 3 fish limit and on down, looks like more fish have finally moved into the local area.
