On Weds our half day trips we stayed more local, but the drift was not good in the morning and got too fast in the afternoon. We still managed to pick a bunch of short fluke and some keepers, along with the other fish like dogfish sharks and skates, a few croakers and sea robins in the mix. Bob Wavro finally got his pool fish in the afternoon. Today we headed out but the ocean was not as friendly and it got a little rolly but not rough. Unfortunately a little too much for a few people but the fishing was pretty good with a boat limit of black sea bass and a decent amount of keeper fluke along with quite a few shorts and short sea bass. Steve's wife beat him out of the pool after he caught two nice ones and Gary also took two fluke home. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics with today's first.
