Sunday 12/15 Sriper report - N G done with them

    Only another handful of good regular striper fishermen showed up but we went out anyway for or last striper trip, glad its the last one because the fishing was no good and the weather was just as bad. Not a nice ocean and we looked all over. We are not sailing until further notice for now, have to see what happens with the weather. Don't let Tuesdays warmer temps fool you because the ocean will not be nice. Keep posted and I will let you know if we will be switching and sailing again. Thanks for looking in.

Stripers anyone? One last shot

     Unfortunately we did not get out the last couple of days due to lack of participation but will try one more time tomorrow morning leaving @7:30 AM. Last I heard they are still catching them so we will give it a shot. After tomorrow I'm not sure yet. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you on the boat.

Mon 11/9 report - not sailing until Fri 11/13

   
Decided to go out on Monday as I had a few calls, but that was all that showed up, but all regulars so we went out anyway. They all really appreciated it but can not keep going out with a handful. Everyone went home with  fish but we had to work at it, not like the day before. Charlie got the pool again, 3 in a row? With the weather the next two days we will not be sailing until Friday, the 13th, hope its not bad luck. See you then and hope they are sill around. Here are a few pics.

Sun 12/8 Kick 'n Bass today so doing it again tomorrow

     Headed out to where we had the fish yesterday and saw tons of birds and knew it was game on. Loaded up on the bonus fish and keepers along with some shorts and overs. Therefore we ARE  sailing tomorrow but NOT  Tues and Weds. Looks like the rain won't come until the afternoon so come on down. We also had a nice show of giant tuna breaking by the boat for more entertainment. Next trip after tomorrow will be Thurs. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Sat 12/7 Striper report

    Went out again with a  small group again, guess the cold chased most away or they were wondering if the bass were still there. They are but not like it was, got a boat limit of slots early then went to look for better fishing. Found a few more but not as good as we wanted. Back at it tomorrow, not sure about Monday with the rain forecast but NOT sailing Tues and Weds. Thanks for looking in and here are only a couple of pics.

Weds 11/4 Good fishing - not sailing until Sat 11/7

    Went out with only a handful of regulars(these handfuls are getting old) but had much better fishing limiting the boat out early and played catch and release. Even yours truly boated a couple. Nobody sailed today and we are not sailing tomorrow, next trip Saturday. No one knows how long it will last so don't wait too long.  Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Tues 12/3 Of course, decent group and they play hard to catch.

   Had a decent group of fishermen show up today, mostly regulars, and of course the fish were finicky. Popping up here and there and hard to catch, but a few guys got there limit or more but nothing like it has been. Did  a lot of looking and riding around to put a catch together. But that is fishing and most went home with dinner, work hard at it and you may be rewarded, including a keeper black fish. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you tomorrow. Mon 12/2 Good fishing again - hope it holds up

    Another great day on the water although it was cold, but we have a big heated cabin. Had to travel a little as our close area did not produce, but it was worth it. Only a handful of regulars showed up but we went anyway, and had a great time, and went home with their limit.  Back at it tomorrow and every day this week, if enough show up and hope the fishing(catching) holds up. Sun 12/1 Another kick'n bass day with a couple of fluke

         We started off where we have been fishing and caught some but not enough so we took off and ended up on the meat. With only one mate, as we did not have enough for two, I had to go down and help out with 3 and 4 on at a time, slots keepers and overs. Had a boat limit after a few drifts and played catch and release. It was cold but the action was hot so guys stayed at the rail. As the water temps drop the bass will move on so don't wait too long to get out there. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Sat 11/30 Good fishing but took a while

    We headed out to where we have been catching them the last few days and caught a few right off the bat. Expected it to get better but it did not so we were hoping when the tide(current) got going it would turn on. Only a couple here and there as the other boats all took off. Decided to make the run down south but heard it was not good yet so we turned around  back to plan A. Of course they did eventually  bite in the  other area but too late to make the run so we stuck it out and the bite did turn on for us. Not the crazy fishing we had yesterday but we did limit out on bonus fish along with some overs and shorts, and keepers so everyone went home with fish. It was cold so dress warm even though we have a big heated cabin, you can't catch them in there. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon before it ends. Here are few pics.
