Not too many showed up for such a beautiful day, that was surprising after al the heat and humidity last week. Went to where we have been fishing and it was not bad for those that could fish or got lucky. Van and Brian both got limits and Brian tied for the pool with Bill. The afternoon was slower but teacher Bob got his two, but Art beat him out on the pool fish. Very nice weather predicted for this week so come on down. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.
We had a good breeze on Sat to keep things comfortable even though it was warm but it does not always help thing for drifting if it is in the wrong direction. A few keeper fluke around the boat and slow pick at short fluke, sea robins, dogfish and skates (at least it's action). Today the weather ( temps) were fantastic after the heat wave. Again too much wind but it felt nice and those that could caught a couple of keeper fluke, some one and some only shorts or other things. Sailing every day, 2 trips, 7 days a week, @ 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon on the dock. Here are some pics in reverse order starting with today.
Went out on Thurs AM and picked at the short fluke along with other things but only a few keeper fluke. The weather people scared everyone off , AGAIN, for the afternoon trip, and not enough showed up, but we did not get any bad weather BTW. This morning we had decent short fluke action but not enough keepers. We did however, have a little better fishing in the afternoon with teacher Bob Sabo getting his limit and the pool. A nice southerly breeze made it very comfortable afternoon and I didn't want to go in. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

We got some bad news today that a long time deckhand of mine has passed, rest in peace Chris, a mate that everyone loved, always polite, kind and friendly. Unfortunately his demons got the best of him but he will be greatly missed. Today's fishing was ok as we picked at Short and keeper fluke along with the other fish on both trips with a cool breeze. I will post rest of the pics and one of Chris tomorrow so thanks for looking in. Sailing 2 trips, every day, 7 days a week, rain or shine, as long as enough show up.
We had a nice morning on the water with a nice breeze that came up to make it comfortable. Picked at short and keeper fluke along with the other fishes, dog fish, sea robins, porgies and sea bass. Charlie took the pool with one of his two keepers and keeper fluke around the boat. Not enough showed up for the afternoon and the weather people were right for ONCE ! Got some heavy rain and a little wind but we will be back at it tomorrow morning sailing @! 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some of the fish.
