We have had plenty of short fluke action but not a lot of keepers the last couple of days. However the are some nice black sea bass in the mix but unfortunately you can only keep one. We have to fish some sticky bottom so bring some stiffer rods so you can bounced out the rigs. If you don't know how please feel free to ask the mates to help you, they are there for you, and remember them at the end of the trip. We can catch plenty of short fluke off the sticky bottom but the keepers are in the rocks. We will be sailing tomorrow morning but probably not the afternoon with the storms coming in. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Weds 7/15 Good AM trip, afternoon ok, Don't forget the mates
We had a nice morning with lots of action, mostly short fluke and sea bass, with some nice keepers mixed in, including a nice trigger fish by Jayne, unfortunately we have to fish some rough bottom and tend to lose rigs. These areas are not for light noodle rods so bring something a little stiffer so you can bounce out your rig. My mates work hard to try and get you out the best as they can, but they can not always do it, so don't forget them at the end of the trip. They do not fish unless they are not working the trip. On the afternoon trip the action was not as good but we did boat a few keeper fluke along with the shorts and sea bass. John P, a long time customer, took the pool in the afternoon. Back at it tomorrow and hope to see you on the boat. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics of keepers.

Tues 7/14 Another good one with lots of ACTION
We headed out to where we fished yesterday but ended up stopping short to try something as we heard it was slow down there. Got lucky and had a great first drift boating a bunch of short fluke and a few keepers. As most of you know one can not just look for fluke on the fish finder, have to go by instinct and luck, and of course a little help from you friends. Worked a couple of other areas and back to where we caught some yesterday. Ended the day banging away at a lot of shorts and some very nice quality keeper fluke. Gary took the pool with one of his 2 keepers weighing 5.05 lbs an is the leader in the monthly pool. Kenny was right behind him with a 4.18 lb beauty, and carrot cake Joe boated a 3 lber. We also boated a few ice sea bass but you can only keep one. Sailing every day @ 8 AM, but tomorrow is a 2 trip day with an afternoon trip @ 1:30PM. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Monday 7/13 REDEMPTION ! On a special day
Today would have been my moms 105th birthday and also the day she passed,@ 87. Anyway we had a great day catching a lot of shorts, maybe 150 and a good amount of keeper fluke along with some sea bass (one pp now). Even the young ones caught a few and had a great time. Irish joke man Gary took the pool with one of his 2 keepers. Quite a few singles around the boat witch is nice to see the keepers spread out around the boat, and not just a few guys getting all the glory. It is a bit of a ride but it was worth it. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some of the keepers.
Update thru Sun 7/12
First let me say that my last report was of pics were from Thurs not Friday. On Friday we picked at the shorts and some keepers but not as good as Thurs. It went downhill from there as the cow nose rays moved in and did something to the fluke. Much slower pic on the shorts and keepers were hard to find on Sat and Sunday morning. On the afternoon trip we took a long ride and found better action and a couple of keeper fluke along with some sea bass. Hope some more fish move in locally. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.
