Fri 11/14 Another good day of fishing(catching) Sailing tomorrow, No reservations needed

We had a another good day, and a nicer day, of catching striped bass, mostly keepers and some overs but only a couple of shorts. Jamie was probably high hook boating 8 mixed fish and mostly every one went home with a fish or two. Sailing tomorrow and every day so don't miss the bite. Thanks for looking in and will post pics tomorrow  morning.

Thurs 11/13 Decent fishing but don't bring your limp rods

We had to deal with the wind again today and it was not fun at times as they missed forecast with winds to 35 and 40 mph, actually had gusts to 50. With that being said, you need rods with some back bone, not your bay fluke rods and light tackle. Bring shads and jigs with weight, especially if its going to be windy. We put together a catch of fish with Adam boating 6 and the pool with fish to 43 inches and Dave boating 2 to 39" and 40". No shorts just keepers and overs along with a few slots, bonus tag fish. Sailing every day, never chartered, and do not take reservations.  Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Wild Weds 11/12 Gary off his hiatus on Stripers

Got on to some bird life off the bat but could not get them to the boat after losing a few. After a couple drifts went to an area where it was game on, although it was not the nicest of oceans, but we hung in there and got the job done. Gary, the joke man as we call him, who has been in a slump but got out of it today, boating 2 overs, 2 keepers and a slot bonus fish. Dejan took the pool honors for his second trip in a row as every one went home the a bag of fish with mostly keepers, some bonus fish and some overs. Sailing tomorrow and everyday as long as the wind is not too strong like over 35 mph. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some of the fish.

Tues 11/11 Veterans day - Thank you for your service - Sailing Weds, 11/12

For the veterans, thank you, and also you dad, who died 21 years ago. None of the boats up here went out fishing with the 40 mph winds, but we will be going out tomorrow. Hope the fish are hungry,  you are ready to catch them,  and hope to see you on the boat. Thanks for looking in.

Sun ? Mon 11/10 Good day but NOT sailing tomorrow Tues 11/11

Sunday morning was very nice but only 2 people showed up and heard the fish bit that day. Look out the window people it was sunny and nice most of the day, I don't think some the weather people have windows. Got out today with a small group and put a  catch together of keepers,  overs & unders. Much better than our last trip on Sat. We were originally planning on going out tomorrow, Tues, but they increased the winds to over 40 mph, a little too much. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Sat 11/8 Got our bass kicked after kickin bass all week

Well the bass got their revenge after a week of getting them. Ran to the south on a good report only to catch a keeper and lost a few. Could see that it was not going to happen so we went on search mode to the other direction and found some but unfortunately they were all shorts, but it was a little action. Back to where we caught them yesterday afternoon and ? they were not there. Sailing tomorrow and every day so hope to see you on the boat on a better day. BTW we never fill up this time of year so don't worry about not being able to get on the boat. Thanks for looking in and here are a couple of pics, at least the little guy got a one of the little ones.

Fri 11/7 Kickin bass 4 in a row after a slow start

Ever have one of the those day that starts off wrong and than goes down hill. After leaving my phone at home, luckily I live close, it started down hill. As we got to where fish were biting it shut down so we went out to where we saw some life and only caught one. Went back to where we caught  the day before and and nothing but then saw the birds. Stopped the boat and game on with 2 - 3 on at a time. Some trophy overs like Gary;s 44" beauty and Adam with one at 43". John Leone was high hook with 10 mixed fish. More overs than keepers but the action was great. After a few drifts the action shut down and it started to get a little rolly. Went to another area that was much nicer, great to see the fish closer to home, and had a few more good shots. Good end to a tough start and back at it tomorrow. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some of the fish again, can't take pics of them all especially when the bite is on.
