Sailing this afternoon, Weds 7/30 and every day unless...

    From now on I am not cancelling trips because the F N weather people can not get it right, one says one thing and another something else and then they change it.  Unless it is pouring rain in the morning or afternoon or very windy, we will be there to go, feel free to call, just not too late or too early. However if you do come remember we will not be going with a handful and since I don't take reservations I am never sure how many will show and even with calls some do not always show. Thanks for looking in and sorry if you made the trip down this morning.

Tues 7/30 Fluke report - Not sailing Weds AM trip - only afternoon trip

     The weather people can not make up their mind on what going to happen tomorrow morning so we are going to cancel it rather then send you home if not enough show up. This morning was very nice weather wise and still only a small group showed up. Nice action with the short fluke and other fish with some keeper fluke in the mix. On the afternoon trip the wind really kicked up and we were restrained to where we could fish. We did however pick at some short fluke and managed to boat a few keepers. Sunday /Monday 7/27 & 28 Good fishing but not alot of keepers

    We had decent fishing (catching) Sunday morning but not a lot of keepers fluke, but we did manage double digits with a big gang.  The afternoon was not as good as the conditions changed and did not have the right drift. Same thing today, a few more keeper fluke in the morning than the afternoon but still had decent action. Thanks for looking in and will post pics tomorrow AM. No reservations needed just come early if you have a small group.

Saturday 7/27 Not like Fri - get in the pool

    Went to where we had decent fishing on Friday but only picked slowly as the drift was not as fast. Seemed as though we had some night  visitors. Went to another area and it was better, with decent short action and some keepers. On the last few trips, people who caught the biggest fish were not in the pool, like on the  afternoon where a 5 lb fluke did not win, got to be in to win. The afternoon fishing was ok but not like Friday's afternoon where we had double digits in keeper fluke. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics. 

 

Fri 7/26 the new weekend - better yet

    The nice weather forecast brought the people out on the morning trip, like it was a weekend. AGAIN if you are bringing a group get down early as we are not taking reservations. Thankfully the fish cooperated and we had good short fluke action with keepers in the mix, singles but no doubles and  the best part was a straight drift  that was not too fast. The afternoon fishing was even better as we had a few guys with 2 keeper fluke, like Gary who did not get one in the morning but came back out, but no limits and Roger got 2 double headers, along with decent short action, with only a third of the people.  Thanks for looking in here are some pics with the afternoon ones first.
