Weds 6/7 - Finally and back to basics

    We finally got a nice day without rain, clouds and east wind but very few fishermen showed up. It was chilly in the morning with a light northerly breeze and cool temps but by afternoon we had t shirts on, until the southerly breeze came up. Which reminds me, always bring a sweat shirt this time of year because the water is still cold and if the wind comes off the water it gets chilly. We picked at the fish more more shorts than keepers and not the action we should have this time of year. More than half the people went home with a nice dinner. The fish are not moving in fast because of the cold water temps of low 6o's. On the afternoon trip it was the same although one man did get his limit. How ?
