Sunday 6/24 A Roger Lee day

    We finally had some good conditions in the morning and picked away at the fish. Franks ended up with 2 nice keepers but not big enough to beat Roger's. Then a ship came through and that was that, so we tried other areas and caught some n more. Ended up with a decent catch of keeper fluke. On the afternoon trip it started out good, picking away and then the wind changed and that was that again. But we did end up with a nice afternoon catch and great weather. Just a quick note, if you have a keeper to the surface try to keep the line tight by leading the fish in circles with out pulling it out of the water. If the line goes slack the fish has a chance to shake the hook loose and also lead the fish to the net , don't just let it take off..
