We started in the morning with a good turnout and went out a the beginning of the incoming tide wind no wind. We encountered the whale with the line or net(by the way he was acting) on his tale and got a good view of him. Picked only a couple of shorts and lost a nice keeper at the net. One must lead the fish to the net and not pull it out when it is netted. A gentle lift helps as the fish is being netted then drop the rod down. Went to another area but had a very slow drift but with the help of an engine moved along and picked slow but steady at keepers and shorts that resulted in a decent catch of keepers. On the next drift we had better action with shorts and a 6 lb pool winning fish. We had a nice breeze in the afternoon and picked on long drifts with John Frank taking his limit and the pool out of the four keepers he caught. A reminder to pull up to the boat to unload and then park because parking is limited with the fair taking up a couple of lots. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics of SOME of the fish
