Tues/Weds reports

   The fishing as been decent with the short action but not a lot of keeper fluke. The same old story where if you work at it you will produce. We did sail the morning Tues but not the afternoon with not enough showing up. This morning we had good action as the pool winner got his pool fish after 12 shorts and there was a  few other keepers around the boat. This afternoon we  got just enough to get out but had to deal with a thunderstorm and rain but did pick at the shorts and only one keeper. Here are some pics and thanks for looking in.

Monday 7/29 Not as good

   Not good drifting conditions so we picked slowly at the short and did boat  a few keepers in the morning. It  was hot and muggy but in the afternoon the breeze picked up and made it more comfortable. Picked at shorts but not fast but  we did boat some more keepers with Jim getting two.  Here are some more pics from yesterday and from today. Thanks for looking in.

Sunday 7/28 Those who can fish will

     We had nice drifting conditions in the morning and produced double digit amount of keeper fluke which for these days is very good. Although almost everyone caught fish only some caught keepers, the fishermen who worked at it. In the morning it was more spread out around the boat,  but in the afternoon two guys who were together caught 5 keepers and then there were some singles around the boat. Less short action in the afternoon then we have been having but the drift was very slow. The pool fish ave been close to 6 lbs.  Thanks for looking in and here are  pics of some of the morning fish and will post more later.

Good fishing with more keepers today

   Can't do a full report right now but will later with pics, but we did do better with keepers both trips today. Post later.

Sat 7/27 little guys rule

  The morning trip started off with no drift but we did get some shorts and a keeper so we went looking for a drift. Picked a couple of keepers by some of the young guys on the boat and some shorts. Finally  got the drift and picked away at the shorts. On the afternoon trip we had a nice first drift picking at shorts and a couple of keepers by Roger who got on his game getting his limit by the end of the trip.  Moved around and picked at some more short and a couple of more keepers. Fri 7/26 another nice day

Went out on another nice day in the morning but had very little drift. Shorts came up slowly but the drift stayed slow. In the afternoon the breeze picked up and the fishing was better. Picked away at shorts and got some keepers to 5 1/4 lbs. Young Casey got her first keeper at the end of the last drift. Here are some pics and thanks for looking in.

Thurs 7/25 another better PM

   The fishing has been good with the action of shorts on both trips, but the last two afternoons have produced more keepers for us. Fishing close in our bay where one doesn't have to worry about rough seas or swells. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Weds 7/24

     First of all let me apologize for putting  2 pics up on Tuesday's report that were from the previous report. We got some nice weather this week but we did not have as many customers as we expected. Fishing was good in the morning with everyone catching fish but could not get that keeper. We did make up for it in the afternoon getting keepers around the boat up to the pool fish of 5 3/4 lbs along with the short action. Update to Tues 7/23 Not bad today

     Well we didn't get out this morning or yesterday afternoon as nice as it was yesterday.  But we did make it out this afternoon but didn't expect to.  Mike from PA came with his son and grandson and was really wanting to go out even though I told him it wasn't looking good. We ended up with with more than expected and had a very nice afternoon picking away at quite a few shorts and did get some keepers with Mike getting a 4-5 lb beauty and his grandson also got a keeper. The past few trips have have been slow with only shorts and a couple of keepers.  Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.
