Fri 1/10 last trip & thank you

   On our last trip we didn't go out with a bang just a fizzle. Picked at short blackfish and a few short cod but only a few keeper blackfish were boated. That was our last trip as we are no longer fishing so will begin again in the spring around mid April. The crew and I would like to thank all of you for fishing with us and hope to see you again in the spring. Here are few pics form the last trip.

  

Tues 1/7 nice day

   Although it was a little cold the ocean was very nice, almost too nice with very little wind. We had decent action with the short blackfish but only a few keepers in the first area. Went to another area and again picked at shorts and a few more keepers, but with the change in tide and wind we had to re anchor a few times. We WILL be sailing tomorrow, Friday, but although the temps sound good for Saturday, the wind forecast is not good.  With S winds gusting to 30 and 4 - 7 ft seas we will NOT be going out and not on Sunday either. Friday will be our last trip, so come down if you can make it. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Sat Jan 4 FOG !

   We went out with only a handful despite the thick fog all day. Because of the dampness it felt cold all day but everyone stayed at the rail picking at shorts and some keepers. Roger had 3 keepers but  Manny got the pool with one of his 2  and a few had one or none but everyone caught fish. No boats went out today with the high winds but we will give it shot tomorrow, Monday,  and Tuesday. but not Weds with more wind coming. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.  

Thurs Jan 2 - Happy New Year to all

     We made it out today with a small group and had decent action with everyone catching shorts and most went home with 1 - 3 keepers.  We will NOT be going out tomorrow with the  rain forecast, don't think enough will show up but will be on the dock on Saturday. Sunday looks like a blow out with the high wind forecast. Sailing 7:30 AM to about 3 PM for blackfish.  Here are some pics and thanks for looking in.
