Tues 8/29 Nice day and good fishing, F the weatherman

     The last few days all they called for was rain for today until this morning. Not one drop came down and those of you that changed your plans to go fishing, blew it, as it was a nice day and the fish bit. Charlie got his limit plus 2 and his son also got two keeper fluke. Other keeper fluke on the boat as we had more keepers than fishermen. Unfortunately Charlies pic did not come out and we had more limits  in the afternoon, with John Moon getting his plus one along with the pool. Denise also got her limit plus one and there was another limit. Thanks for looking and and DO NOT LISTEN TO THE WEATHER PEOPLE , LOOK OUT THE WINDOW,  or wait til the latest forecast. Mon 8/28 Not the best conditions

     We were surprised with the turnout this morning, guess people trying to get it in before the summer is over.  Had easterly winds against an out going tide so the drift was not good. Dennis and Jim both got 2 keeper fluke and tied for the pool and there were a few others around the boat along with the shorts and other fish. The afternoon trip was about the same with less keeper fluke. Sailing tomorrow, Tuesday if the weatherman doesn't scare away the people so we will be on the dock ready to go, did get a few phone calls. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

 

Sunday 8/27 fluke report

     It was a surprising low turnout for a nice Sunday morning forecast, but I guess everyone though it would be crowded. Picked at short and keeper fluke but but not a fast pick, but it was a nice morning. On the afternoon trip we had a better turnout sine there were two groups and had even better action with Sue taking the pool celebrating her sister Janet's birthday with group they came with and other keepers around the boat. So if you do not have a whole day to kill come on out.Thanks for looking in and here are some pics. 

Sat 8/26 To our benifit and good fishing

     The weather people screwed up again but to our benefit by saying no rain today. It poured before we left but people still came down and had a nice morning after it stopped at 8:30. Picked away at the fish, Keeper and short fluke along with all the other fish. No one got the limit  but quite a few twos around the boat which is always good to see on both trips. Marty got the pool in the morning and another guy just beat out Paul in the afternoon. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some the catch.
