Sat 11/30 Good fishing but took a while

    We headed out to where we have been catching them the last few days and caught a few right off the bat. Expected it to get better but it did not so we were hoping when the tide(current) got going it would turn on. Only a couple here and there as the other boats all took off. Decided to make the run down south but heard it was not good yet so we turned around  back to plan A. Of course they did eventually  bite in the  other area but too late to make the run so we stuck it out and the bite did turn on for us. Not the crazy fishing we had yesterday but we did limit out on bonus fish along with some overs and shorts, and keepers so everyone went home with fish. It was cold so dress warm even though we have a big heated cabin, you can't catch them in there. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon before it ends. Here are few pics.

Super Black Friday bite - Kick'n bass an understatement

     I was shocked this morning to go out with only a few regulars on a normally busy fishing day. Well you missed out as we limited out on slots on the first drift and caught fish all day long, mostly bonus fish, shorts, some overs, but we did limit out on keepers after throwing a lot of others back. Even with only a few people on board I had to go down and help net with 2 and 3 on at a time, boating over 75 fish with the few guys we had fishing.  Back at it tomorrow and every day so don't miss out on the bite, it wont last forever. Weds 11/27 Kick'n Bass - Fish'n good in the neighborhood

     We had super fishing yesterday(computer would not let me post last nite), limiting out with slots and keepers and throwing that many back including shorts, not far from the dock. Action all day long until the tide died early in the afternoon. Did not try to sail this morning with the weather but will be on Friday and the weekend on. Tues 11/26 Good fishing again but not the best weather

   Not too many showed up to go this morning but we did, all people we know. Good fishing right off the bat and picked away the rest of the day so everyone caught multiple fish and went home with a bag of fish. It was a wet one wit the rain but every one hung in there and the seas were not nice in some areas, but it was fun day. John took the pool with his keeper and we had good action with shorts, a few overs and slots that we had to throw back after everyone caught one. Should be a nice day tomorrow so come on down. Rain and wind for Thurs, turkey day, so I'm not sure what to do as we usually sail a half day, 7:30 - 12:30 and will decide tomorrow. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Mon 11/25 Much nicer day with great fishing

     Much nicer day today with lighter winds but the fish were still hungry. Limited out on slot bonus fish by 10 AM and caught as many shorts and a couple of keepers before we started throwing the extra bonus fish back along with more shorts. The fishing slowed up once the tide slowed up but we still picked at the fish on most drifts. Steve tied for the pool with his keeper and got his limit. Sailing tomorrow despite the light rain forecast and every day including Thanksgiving day, (7:30 AM - 12:30 $65 pp) weather permitting, so check back on Weds. Sun 11/24 Good fishing again - despite the wind

     We ended up cancelling Saturday's trip with winds to 40 mph but we did go out today, but it was still windy with winds to 30 +.  The morning bite was the best as we got a few good drifts in before the change. Slots and keepers went home  for those who stuck at it and fished hard. It was  not nice but fish-able, so we will be back at it tomorrow again. Sailing every day, including a half day trip on Thanksgiving, but watching the weather as they say it may rain. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics. 

Sailing Sat and Sun 11/23 &24 & on

     We decided to sail tomorrow and everyday after that but it will be windy the next two days, we but should be able to get out of the seas. Will be on the chilly side so dress warm. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you on the boat.

Weds 11/20 Better fishing today - not saiing Thurs or Fri 11/21 & 22

    We had better fishing today with a fair size group so everyone went home with a fish or two if they wanted it. Nice calm ocean and bay but it will not be tomorrow so see you on the weekend if it turns out ok. Thanks for looking in and here are few pics.

Mon/Tues 11/18 & 19 Gettin kicked again - But they were there Monday

       Had a small group of regulars on Monday that could fish, and when the fish were up and feeding, we had a tough time catching them. White water and birds all over the place  but only a few here and there. Very annoying but we put a few in the boat with Scott taking the pool and was high hook, need more fishermen like him. Every one that wanted a fish had one to take home. Today, with a decent group, started off ok and when the bite died we went to where all the life was yesterday, and guess what, none to be found, like going to a jungle one day to a desert the next. Of course with a decant amount of people they disappear. Back at it tomorrow but looks like we will not be sailing on Thurs and maybe Fri, so stay posted, tuned. Sun 11/17 Bass kickin by the bass but ladies held their own

     We had a nice turnout on a much nicer day than yesterday but unfortunately the bass did not want to cooperate. Where we had lots of  bird and top water life there was none so we had to do a lot of looking. Managed  a few here and there but overall not good. Can't catch them all the time but a couple of the ladies did ok. Donata got here limit and the pool again while Krissy caught two bonus fish as did a young man in the stern that also got his limit(2nd from bottom pic). A few others got a couple or one but not the fishing we had all week. Tomorrow is another day so come on down, sailing every day @ 7:30 AM weather permitting.
