Monday 7/31 report and surprise visitor

     On a very nice cool morning with conditions that looked good we headed out to where we had some fish. Made a long drift but only a s couple of shorts and dogfish with a surprise visitor, an Osprey, landed on the mast. This is pretty rare and I have never seen it before. Went to another area and found some action with shorts and keepers. Not many keeper fluke for the morning but it was better than nothing. A lady with a rod rental took the pool. Better conditions in the afternoon gave us a chance to catch more fish and we did. Mike from Leisure  Knolls took the pool just beating out young Kyle,  Howard form Oakland's grandson. Mike had one in the morning and came back out in the afternoon and got two more to complete his limit for the day. Keepers a round the boat and some short action for the afternoon.
