Friday 11/9 Striper & whale time

    We took a ride out of our local area since the best fishing has been on the out going which would not have been until noon. We came across bunkers and a couple of whales feeding on them and stripers were also in the mix. Picked  on each drift, all keepers, and accidentally hooked a whale that swam under the bow. No it doesn't count in the pool buddy. One man with a rod rental did land 3 keepers on a jig and some were also caught on eels and shads. The largest, the pool fish, was 22 lbs@  40" We then went back to a more local area only to catch a couple of shorts and one slot (24 -28") bonus fish, we do have bonus tags. No boats in our harbor sailed today due to the gale force winds. We will be back at it tomorrow, Saturday, and the rest of the week, so come on down and  dress warm.
