Monday 7/30 cloudy but nice

    Although it was cloudy the temps were nice on the water, almost felt cool. We picked some keepers and shorts in the bay with little action until we lost the drift. Moved to another area and had more short action and a few more keepers. On the afternoon trip we stayed in the bay with wind against tide int the ocean conditions. Slow pick on shorts and keepers but a nice relaxing afternoon. Here are some pics and thanks for looking in. Sailing two trips every day @ 8 AM and 1:30 PM , rain or shine. Update thru Sunday 7/29

   I'm sorry I haven't posted every day but its been about the same. Pick away at shorts, some times good and at other times its slow. The keeper fluke have been elusive seeing one here and there. If we get two or three on a drift that is decent.At lest the weather has been nicer and we are still sailing every day, rain or shine, two trips. Thanks for lookiing in and here are some pics.

Thurs 7/26

   We  finally got a decent day but still not many showed up. We fished our bay picking away at shorts and a few keepers mixed in with one lucky or good lady getting her limit. On the afternoon trip there was a little less action but we ended up with  more keepers. Here are some pics and thanks for looking in.

Sun/Mon /Tues

    We only got out on the morning trip on Sunday but didn't make it out on Monday with nobody showing up. Today we did get out with small groups and the bay was fine to fish. Picked at shorts with only a few keepers coming n but it was not rough like the ocean is. Very nice on the water with a cool southerly wind, not like being on the land. Sailing every day, rain or shine, so grab some friends and com on down.Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon. Saaturday 7/21 The wind

    We had a surprisingly good turnout in the morning but nobody tried to sail in the afternoon with the wind forecast of gale, as we were more worried about getting back into the slip than being out there. Even the 3/4 day boats came in early but we will be sailing today and every day despite the showers and t storm forecast. The morning started off slow but then we were able to pick away ant shorts and some keepers with a high hook of two. Here are a few pics of some of the keepers and thanks for looking in.

Friday, another nice one

    Another beautiful day before the weather comes,and we picked away at shorts and some keepers.  Not enough keeper fluke  but action with the shorts was there. On the afternoon trip there was less action with the shorts but a few more keepers. The top pic of a young lady that was probably high hook with 2 keepers and some shorts. At least the fish are still in the bay so we can fish tomorrow morning, but give me a call about the afternoon. Here are a few pics ( of some of the fish), and thanks for looking in.

Thurs 7/19 A beauty

     It was a very nice day on the water as it probably was anywhere. The morning started off slow but then we found an area to pick away at shorts and some nice keepers mixed in that we saw all around the boat but the bow did a little better. The afternoon was not as productive or active, but Stu landed the first two keepers with one taking the pool at the end. He and his grandson took three home. Her are some pics and thanks for looking in. Sailing every day and have the protected waters of the bay to fish, nobody will be fishing the ocean this weekend.
