The fishing improved a little with the water temps warming up but still not good. Today was very nice on the water and I 'm sure the folks felt great getting out. This afternoon Pete Batista nailed a keeper on the first drift but was edged out of the pool buy John Doll later on in the trip. The morning trip was a little a better as far as keepers and more fish over all with Bob Kubiak taking the pool with one of his two keepers. We still ask you to wear a mask but if your separated at the rail you can take it off if you feel comfortable about it. The cabin is still closed so bring a small cooler with your food and drinks. Reservations are suggested as we are limited to the amount we can carry. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon. Stay safe.

Update toWeds 5/27 still struggling
I have not posted the last few days as the fishing (catching) has been the same, not good with a slow pick on shorts and only a few keepers being caught. I will not be posting everyday unless something changes. The weekdays have not been busy but reservations are still suggested. Yesterday, Wednesday, we did see a slight improvement and hope it gets better form here on out. We did not make it out this morning but will be there for the afternoon since I had a couple of calls. Here are pics of some of the keepers but now I wonder if we should bother with pics since no nobody is recognizable, lol. One is of Hassan and another of old Artie. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon, stay safe. P S I have not been able to post on facebook but hopefully soon.

Sunday 5/24 Roger again
On the morning trip we picked slowly at the shorts in different areas but the keepers were being very elusive. The afternoon trip turned out better for us as we had better short action and more keepers with Roger Lee taking the pool again with one of his two. This morning we are booked up but there is room on the afternoon trip and the rest of the week is open so give me a call if you want to go. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics.

Sat 5/24 Its a start
We sailed our first trip but only in the morning with the rain that came. The action was not good, very slow in fact but we did catch some keeper fluke, some shorts and only a few sea robins. Pete Batista caught the first keeper and added one to it but Roger Lee got the pool on the last drift with a few others around the boat with our small group of fishermen. Sailing 2 trips every day now, @ 8 AM and 1:30 PM, phone reservations, not by email or facebook, are suggested especially on the weekends since we can only take a limited amount. Masks a must and bring a small cooler for your food and drinks as the cabin will be closed. Thanks for looking in, everyone is well and hope to see you soon.

May 21 - Almost ready to go
We will begin our fishing season on Sat 5/24 as we have inspection on Friday. Half day trips form 8 AM - 12:30 PM and 1:30 - 6 PM, fishing for fluke with limited spots on the boat so phone reservations are suggested and not by facebook. Those that reserve should be there by 7:30 AM and we will only be taking cash, $ 55.00 for ALL fares, and Masks MUST be worn on the boat at all times. The cabin will be closed so bring a small cooler for our food and drinks. With social distancing the spots will be limited with fewer patrons, so don't forget the mates. Please do NOT board the boat if you get there before the crew to put rods on, you will lose your spot if you do, form a social distance line of 6 ft apart. We will also not allow braided line from back of the cabin to the stern (back). These rules are not easy but we can do this and get through it, I do not like it any more than you. Hope to see you soon and stay safe. Thanks for looking in.

May 14, 2020 We are still here - waiting
Sorry, I have not posted lately even though I, as well as most of you, have been locked down in the house. Yes, this is getting to me also and sometimes to the point where one does not want to do anything. We are hanging in and waiting for the go ahead from the higher ups to start going fishing again. I sincerely hope you are all well, we will get through this and we will be here for you when things ease up. Things will not be the same as we knew it, but we will have to deal. Limited spaces on the boat and masks a must, is just the beginning, so be prepared. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you in the very near future.
