We fished different area to start and boated a couple of keepers and slots which I was happy with since we did not have too many experienced fisher people on board. After getting a few more stripers we also caught some bluefish which most people didn't want but the were big and fun to catch. Got away from them and got some more striped bass. Not a great day but not bad, better than I thought it would be. If you have spinning rod and can pick up some big shads that was the ticket today but we did catch some on jigs.
