After not being out for two days with the wind, we mad it out with no wind but it was a little raw. Caught fish from the start and almost all day. As water temps drop the fish will start to move out so get in on the action. Sailing every day @ 7:30 AM open boat no reservations needed. As I wrote yesterday we had very good fishing on Turkey day. Limited out on slots and almost on keepers, 28 - 38' with the biggest the one Jimmy caught at 36.5" (but not in the pool), with everyone going home with fish. None of the boats went out on Friday with the wind forecast, but we will try tomorrow, Sat, if they don't increase the wind forecast. We will stay with the striped bass until it slows down, and then to Black fish. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics, not putting up 20 + pics up.
We had a great day on the water catching fish on every drift. Lots of limits on the boat with every one going home with fish. Gale winds tomorrow so we will not be going out, see you on Saturday. Will post pics later, thanks for looking in.
Ever have one of those days when things start off wrong, today was one but what a turnaround. Went out with less than I thought we had and it was windy and cold. What am I doing here I thought but by 9:15 AM we had our keepers and slots (bonus tag fish) filled up. Caught fish all day long catching more than double that we could have kept, throwing the rest back plus some. Sailing tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day at 7 AM to 12 for $ 70 pp and will see will what Friday will bring. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics.
We worked a different area in the morning and probably should have stayed picking keeper stripers and a couple of slots with our light turnout. Went back to the area we had them yesterday but not good and then worked other areas. Not a bad day, with a couple of limits, but could have been little better. Not sailing tomorrow Monday, 11/22 and will see what happens for Tues. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some of the fish.
Was not a good start to the morning with only a few people showing up at the end. And the morning out there was also a slow start, but we managed to put some fish the boat thanks to Big Mike who took his limit out of the over the double amount keepers and slots that he caught. The fish are there so come and get them. Others were caught around the boat but we should have had more. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics, I m sorry but I am very frustrated trying to put fish in the boat.
We were expecting another great day as we headed and looked over where we had them the day before. Nothing around but we did find fish farther out and got what we could out of them, was hard to keep up with them ,catching a few drift. We then rode all over and finally got a shot close to the dock but mostly shorts and slots with one more keeper. Right from the get go it was game on, catching slots and keeper stripers to 36 " with very few shorts, and some big blues at the end of the trip. The bay was like glass with fish swirling on top, shads working the best so pick some up. Every one went home with a slot and keeper if they wanted it. Back at it tomorrow and every day weather permitting so give me a call if you are unsure.
