Monday's report 11/28 and update

    Monday turned out to be one of the nicest days on the water, warm enough to fish in  tee shirt on the sunny side, but it was chilly in the first part of the  morning.  Made several drops with one being very good and on others only  picked a few until a southerly pushed us up on the anchors. A couple of guys caught their limit of keeper black fish and more while others only  had a few or a couple, but everyone caught fish. No boats went out yesterday or today with the weather and not sure if we will be going tomorrow (Thurs) or not, will post something later when I get an updated forecast this evening. Sunday 11/27 Those that can - catch

   The day turned out nicer then predicted so I tried a couple of spots I have not fished lately and now I know why. Not much but a few shorts, but we did hit one that produced some keepers. Went to a couple more that were even better and we ended up by the end of the day, to my surprise,  better than I thought. I try to stay on top of how the bite is going but some times don't realize how many we did catch. Pat got his limit and there were a couple pf more guys with 5 on down. A few nice fish in the mix with the pool being about 6-7 lbs. Sometimes you have to change the bait you are using i e with legs, without legs, shell on or off,  half or whole crabs,etc. Look around and see what seems to be working.  Here are few pics and hope to see you soon. Tomorrow looks good but we will not be sailing on Tues and Weds, not sure about Thurs.

Sat 11/26 report

    We tried another area only to catch some shorts and the current was running.  Went to where we have been fishing and picked some nicer size fish and shorts (blackfish). Made a couple of moves but only a slow pick like all the other boats out there.  Ended up with some guys catching 3 or 4 keeper blackfish, some one or two and of course some no keepers only shorts. Thus/Fri 11/24 & 25 Happy Thanksgiving

     We got out on turkey day abut not as nice as we thought it would be. Not bad just a little uncomfortable with a S E breeze and out going tide. Picked a few on every drop but can't say it was good. Today the conditions started out good and then it fell apart making it hard to stay on one spot. Again started out good with some nice fish coming aboard and then it dwindled down on each drop.  Sounds like the conditions will be good the next coupe of days so hope to see you then. We did have guys with 3 n 4 keepers up to about 8 lbs but not every one went home with fish. Here are a few pics and hope every one had a nice holiday.

11/23 report - Great fsihing for some

      It was a little breezy in the morning but it died down later on. Picked away at short and keeper blackfish on the first drop and then tried a couple more. Everyone caught fish but one guy out did himself by taking his limit out of two plus limits of keeper blackfish, others with a limit on down. Here are a few pics and we are sailing a half day trip tomorrow leaving at 7:30 to about 12:30 -1 pm. Thanks for looking in.
