Weds 6/12 report and update

    We did not go out on Monday or Tues with the rain and windy weather. Weds we sailed both trips with the nice weather  until the afternoon when the wind kicked up and it got chilly. Still only a slow pick on shorts with an occasional keeper mixed in which in the case of the afternoon trip was the first and last fish to come aboard. Always bring a light jacket or sweat shirt just in case.  No boats sailed this morning and we will not be going out this afternoon. Sunday is fathers day and it can be busy if the weather is nice, so just a heads up. Another option is to get dad a gift certificate to use any time. Sunday 6/9 and pics

    The easterly winds were still there so the drift in the morning was fast but thank god we have the bay to fish. Picked some shorts and a couple of keepers but not as good as yesterday. The afternoon fishing with a handful of customers was not good. Here are some pics from today and yesterday. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon. Forecast does not look good for tomorrow so see what happens. Oh and btw  the pool winner yesterday afternoon was Rob, Bobs friend, not him.

Sat 6/8 report

    We saw an improvement in the fishing in the morning with fish showing  up in area that were fished out. We had more keepers than the last few days and a better pick of shorts. The East wind however, kicked up in the afternoon and we were restricted to where we could fish but it was not rough. I would not want to have been in the ocean, nor would  I want to be there today.  We did pick at some shorts but not as good as the morning and back pack Bob nailed the pool with his keeper. We will see if enough show up on Monday morning to go out, with the rain coming ,and if we do not make it out we will not sail the afternoon. Thanks for looking in and will post pics later.

Friday 6/7 Luck or ?

    The age old question of is it luck or skill or both. We found the fishing a little better as far as keepers while we searched other areas. After picking some shorts and a keeper we decided to look around. Ended up with a couple of keepers but not the action we wanted in the morning. Jane got another along with part of the pool, luck or skill ? The afternoon trip started off good boating a couple of keepers and shorts. Carlos ended up with two keepers, couple others  around along with two big blues caught by Art and Roger. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics.

Update thru Thurs - not much change

     We have been making it out except for Weds afternoon with the weather men scaring everyone with thunderstorm forecast that we did not get until late. Fishing is still the same with a pick of shorts sometimes slow  other times ok with an odd keeper, sometimes no keepers. Wish I had better new but we will hope for the best and more fish showing up. Weather looks great the next few days so come down and enjoy it. Thanks for looking in. No pics with this report.

Monday and Pics from the weekend

    Fishing was not good as we tried different areas and the wind made the drift too fast limiting where we could fish, especially in the afternoon. Found a few shorts but the keepers were elusive. Weekend report

    The fishing has not improved but we are picking at shorts, some days better than others, with a few keeper fluke mixed in. We do not read much bait on the bottom and the even very few sea robins which also a bad sign. Sailing every day, 7 days a week so come down and enjoy some nice weather and a relaxing time on the boat. Having trouble getting the pics off the camera so will post later.
