After yesterdays fishing I was looking forward to going out but only a few people showed up. We will try aging tomorrow morning sailing @ 8 AM but only the morning trip. Looks like Tuesday will be a no go but Wednesday will be ok but again only sailing the AM trip. Fluke opens on May 2 so if you want to try some striper fishing come down soon. It is all jigging with swim shads, jigs and flutter spoons so if you have a spinning rod bring it for casting. Thanks for looking in.
After yesterday's fishing, today was a big turnaround. We banged them from the start and then pick the rest of the morning. Almost a boat limit of keepers in the AM with a few shorts as the guys took there one fish limit when catching 2 or 3, but it was not as good in the afternoon with Bob o taking the pool with on of his two. The fish were there but the talent on board was not, but we still managed some keepers and shorts. We will be sailing tomorrow morning, Easter, and then mornings only the rest of the week until Wednesday, then two trips every day. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics.
The fishing(catching) was not like it was last week, not that we were out, but it was a very nice day on the water. We did catch a few fish in the morning but it was not good, and the afternoon was worse. Sailing both trips tomorrow, but only the morning trip on Sunday and the rest of the week until Thurs where we will start sailing 2 half day trips every day, 7 days. Fishing Sandy Hook and Raritan bays for now where it is nice and comfortable. Thanks for looking in and here are few pics.

Friday 4/15, fishing for Striped bass on a half day schedule (8 AM - 12:30 & 1:30 - 6 PM) for Friday, Sat and morning trip only on Easter Sunday @ the same rate as last year FOR NOW, $55 adults and $35 for those under 12, cash only. Not sailing Monday and will do 3/4 day trips Tues - Thurs @ $90 pp.NEXT WEEK ONLY, 4/19 - 21, then back to a regular daily half day schedule 7 days a week. We made our last trip trip on Thurs 1/13 on a beautiful ocean and picked at the fish with a high hook of a limit (4) on down. We are done for the season and will resume in around mid April unless things happen earlier. Thanks for looking in and her are some pics.
