Tues 5/7 Nice day and turnout

The great weather forecast brought the people out and we had good turnouts. The fishing was not bad for the no drift conditions as some caught diner plus and some not in the morning. With all the boats fishing the same small area it is tough to put a catch together but we did put a few in the boat. Back at it tomorrow sailing both trips but not going to go out on Thurs 5/9 with rain all day. Here are some pics with the afternoon one s first as someone fooled with the settings and I will leave it at that (Mike was not here). Thanks for looking in.

Mon 5/6 Nice day but not many folks

Maybe the forecast scared off the people but it was a nice day, too nice with very little drift where we had the fish yesterday.  Went out with a handful in the morning but a better turnout in the afternoon.  Went in search mode trying different areas but still could not repeat Saturdays fishing. As usual more shorts then keepers, but it is action. Have calls for tomorrow so we are definitely going, however Thursday sounds like a washout so we will NOT be going out. See you in the morning and thanks for looking in, here are a few pics.

Sunday 5/5 Cinco de Mayo report - not like yesterday but ok

We went out on a cold, cloudy and breezy day with a fair sized group, did not expect much of a turnout with the weather forecast. Picked slowly at the fluke with Joe taking the pool and Jamie got his two keepers, as did another guy and some with one or just shorts. Nothing like yesterday's fishing but not bad. Back at it tomorrow but the afternoon sounds better and I know of a couple of guys coming then but we will still be there for the morning. We will definitely be going Tuesday with the forecast, so watch the weather and pick the nicer days so enough people show up. Thanks for looking and here are some pics.

Sat 5/4 Fluke opener PM trip

After a super morning of fishing and a lot of boats fishing the same small area we had our hands full to put another catch together, but we managed. Paul came back out to top off his limit and added one more while teacher Bob Sabo took the pool. We had other singles around the boat along with short action so most went home with dinner. Fishing the calm waters of  the bay it was very comfortable other then the cold breeze and a few sprinkles. Bring a sweatshirt or jacket, always colder on the water. Thanks for looking in and here are pics of some of the fish. Sailing 2 trips every day, as long as enough people show up, so bring some friends.

Sat 5/4 Shame on you - Banner morning for opening day

Those of you that wanted to wait for a good report to go fishing well shame on you cause you  missed it. One of the best opening days for fluke in a while as we had 5 limits @ the new size of 3 @ 18 " and some with 2 , one up to 5 lbs. Ran home to do this report between trips and going back out. Sailing two trips everyday now for Fluke. Thanks for looking in and here sere  pics of  SOME   of the fish.

Weds/Thurs reports Finally and Bring sweat shirts

We have been going out with very small groups this week and the fishing (catching) has not been good. We did manage an over on Weds AM and lost a couple but the PM was a bust as was Thurs AM. Thurs afternoon we went out to find the fish on top with birds working and fish splashing so it was game on. :Unfortunately not too many experienced but we did manage a few overs and finally a keeper. Back at it this morning , sorry for the late report, but not sailing this afternoon. Fluke fishing starting tomorrow. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics. PS bring sweat shirts as it may be warm on land but not out there when the wind kicks up.
