On Monday, after fishing the usual areas and picking at shorts, but did get a keeper, we did some looking around, up to the north with the same results. Jimmy H took the pool with on just over 3 lbs and is the new monthly pool winner. Today same start inshore, but this time we went off shore fishing some new sticky bottom only to find some horn (spiny) dog fish. Went back in shore to finish up with a few more shorts and a keeper. Can't say we are not trying but we can not make some thing out of something not there YET! it could happen any day so be in the report and not read about it. We will be there tomorrow morning for our half day schedule but not sure about the afternoon trip with the showers forecast, not that it would stop us but people are not even showing up on the nice days in the afternoon. With the way the fishing has been we will not be going out with just a few people in the afternoon. So plan accordingly and give me a call in the later morning if you like.
