Sat 8/19 Made the best of the condiotions with decent AM & the Snackle box

    The wind was still blowing this morning so we had to go back down the beach again. We did have very good action with the sea robins, short fluke, skates and only a few dogfish, but we also did manage to put double digit keeper fluke on board, not one but in numbers. Everyone had a good time and most caught something. Just a note of one picture of the new fad the Snacle box, great idea, snacks in a tackle box. On the afternoon trip we had the same conditions but made the best of it, picking at the sea robins and a few skates, but also some keeper fluke with Kathy taking the pool with the last keeper caught, so never give up. Thanks for looking in and sailing every day, 7 days, 2 trips @ 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM. No need for reservations unless you have a larger group. Here are some pics.

Tough Thurs and good Fri AM 8/17 &18

      The conditions were not good on Thurs with east and southeast winds but daily news Frank took the pool with his keeper fluke on the morning trip and Rich got it in the afternoon with one of his two keeper fluke. This morning was much better as more keeper fluke came aboard, but the afternoon the wind kicked up so we were restricted to fishing the beach with lots of action, sea robins and shorts, but only a few keeper fluke. Old Artie took the pool with his keeper fluke.  Weather looks good tomorrow so come on down, sailing @ 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM. Here are some pics and thanks for looking in.

Weds 8/16 Another nice one

     We had better conditions then the day before and had a couple of good drifts with lots of action picking at Short and keeper fluke along with sea bass and small porgies, that have been eating up the baits. High hook was Todd with 2 keeper fluke who also took the pool, but everyone caught something. On the afternoon trip teacher Ed showed his skill by getting  his 3 keeper fluke limit but Zeek took the pool. Thanks for looking in and here are the pics but the first 3 are not in order. 

Tues 8/15 Another nice missed forecasted day

      Not many showed up for the boats with the wrong forecast AGAIN, and we went back to where we had some decent fishing on Monday, but only picked slowly as the drift was much faster. High hook 2 keeper fluke on the morning trip but not enough showed up to go out in the afternoon that turned out very nice. Sailing every day, 7 days a week, rain or shine, so look out the window and remember the weather down here and on the water may not be the same as by you. Monday 8/14 Beautiful day with good AM fishing

      Was cloudy this AM but the weather was great with no wind and good drifting conditions. Had a very good pick on short fluke and some nice keepers also with one limit on down. Wish every day could be like this with a nice group of people, action, keepers, and calm waters after yesterday. Malcom almost got the pool with one of his two keepers. The afternoon was also nice with a cool breeze but the fish did not cooperate like the AM as far as keepers but the pick was ok with shorts. Kathy or Cathy got the pool with her keeper.
