Thurs 11/14 Kickin bass again w/o getting ours kicked

The morning started off  catching a few here and there but by the end of the day the fish got hungry and turned on. The best part we did not have to go to rough waters to catch them, and everyone went home with a couple of bags of meat. Most with limits or more, including Mikes high school friend Michelle. Back at it tomorrow and everyday weather permits, so come down while the bite is hot, of course each day can be different. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Weds 11/13 Another Kickin Bass day and another boat limit plus

First let me apologize about not sailing Tues, to those who came down, but it was not my fault the weather people can't predict the winds right. Gusts to 40 is too much when they said only up to 30. Today did not start off so nice with the NNE winds against the tide but we managed to put a few in boat trying different areas. But our last area was, hang on, all hands on deck fishing as we boated our keeper and slot fish limit plus some, along with as many  overs  to 43" caught by Charlie. One to 4  on at times with only a dozen fishermen. Not only was the fishing great but the seas were calm where we ended up. Everyone went home with their 2 fish limit except one guy who got greedy and left someone with none, SHAME on you and this will NOT happen again. I had to give my fish away so he went home with something. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics but we were too busy to take more.

Mon 11/11 Kickin Bass - Boat limit plus - Sailing tomorrow, Tues.

Today was the BEST day of this season as we limited out the boat with both keepers, and slots, then had to start throwing them back, so everyone went home with keeper and a slot. Thanks to Frank and Scott who put on a show,(clinic) as some guys say, boating fish when others couldn't, they were amazing and took the pool. Maybe it was because of my dad passing 20 yrs ago today, thanks dad. Good start to the day in the morning, then a lull at slack tide, with a fantastic finish. We will be sailing tomorrow, Tues, hope enough show up with the forecast as some boats already cancelled. Thanks for looking in, and hope to see you on the boat. Here are some pics.

Sun 11/10 Repeat of Sat - Krissie had the hot hand & the BOATS!

Again the first two drifts were the best of the day as Krissie boated two slot fish and keeper along with the other fish that were caught, along with a fluke. Dave also got his limit of a keeper and slot.  But again the smaller private boats, and there were a lot of them, were relentless as they jumped on the fish every time they came up. As boats are forced to get out of their slips they bring them down on trailers, lots of them in the parking lot. Did a lot of riding around catching one or  two here and there but at least the weather was nice with light winds. Watch the people that catch fish and see how they are reeling or jigging and what the are using to get in the game. My mates are there to help you so don't be afraid to ask for help, but don't forget them at the end of the day, this is what they do for a living. Back at it tomorrow and every day, so come on down. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Sat 11/9 Another great start and big Mike was dialed in

We had another great first drift with fish around the boat, so be ready when we leave the dock and don't ask the mates to help you tie on a jig or how to work the reel., when we have 3 or 4 fish on. Ask on the way out or before we leave in the morning. After the morning bite we picked a few fish here and there, one  to three a stop and sometimes nothing. Still ended up with several limits on the boat, a keeper and slot per person. Mike  was high hook with his buddy as he caught one if there were d fish to catch. It was  a chilly one on the water so always be prepared. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you on the boat. Sailing everyday @ 7:30 AM.

Fri 11/8 Kickin bass from the get go

We went out with a nice group of mostly regulars and got into the fish right away on on the first drift that lasted and hour, keepers, slots and a few overs, > 31" The day was made but we still picked a few each drift after that and close to home. Tried going to another area that  produced fish a couple of days ago but it did not today. Back to near where we started and the birds were working and we put a few more in the boat. One young man got his biggest, and maybe his first, but it was too big😟. Bob on the pulpit, was probably high hook with 3 keepers, 2 slots, and 2 overs. Super Dave may have got his PB @ 46" but his pic did not come out, and there were a few ore limits around. Thanks for looking in and sailing every day including holidays so come catch the fun. Here are some pics of some of the fish, but not in the order I wanted.
