Sorry I ran out of time this morning to post the pics with computer issues. Today we went to where there was a good bite yesterday, but only picked some nice sea bass and a few fluke, apparently t;he guys who do the casting of the sproats and work them catch most of the keepers. Most of our guys drag bait and its hard to compete. Went to another area by ourselves but still caught mostly sea bass, enough to limit the boat out with keepers but not enough fluke. Seemed like the fluke bite slowed up with the swell. Back at it tomorrow so hope to see you on the dock. Thanks for looking in and here are the pics from the last few days.

Tues / Weds 7/8 & 9 Fluke 6.2 lbs and some sea bass
The fluking has been challenging to say the least especially on the shorter days but we still try to go whee we need to and some times we get some sea bass in the mix but limited to one a person, dumb law. On Tues we went to where we caught them on Mon but the swell must have shut them down so we had to go offshore more but it was mostly shorts but some keeper sea bass. On weds morning we tried closer and then ran off to pick a few short fluke and sea bass with keepers mixed in including 6.2 lb beauty of a fluke caught by Elliot at the very end whistle fish. BTW he is not in the big pools. On the afternoon trip we stayed local with the increasing southerly winds and picked only few shorts and a couple of keepers. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics but some do not come out right, not the fault of the taker. Camera has a mind of its own. Will post pics in a minute on the next report.

Sun/Mon 7/6 &7 Fluke fishing every day
On Sunday went back to where we have been fishing and picked away at shorts and a few keeper fluke on both trips with of course the fish to fill in the gaps but would have liked to have seen more keepers. Today we went to a another area farther out and had very good short fluke action along with more keepers and some sea bass mixed in but mostly shorts. Sailing tomorrow and every day as long as enough show up, usually do this time of year, but check out our mixed schedule or give me a call. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Fri/Sat 7/4 & 5 Fluke reports
It was a little tough going the last few trips but Saturday afternoon we got a reprise with a couple of guys getting two keepers and some one along with the short fluke and other fish. Mostly because we had a much better drift in the afternoon then on the morning trip. The fishing is not like it should be but hopefully it improves overall. Thanks for looking in and check our schedule before coming down, here are some pics.

Thurs 7/3 Some nice fluke
Took a little ride on our longer trip and had some good fishing(catching) with Jim getting ;his 3 fish limit plus one and Elisa taking the pool with one just shy of 5 lbs. Couple of guys got their 2 some one, and of course some only shorts along with a few sea bass. We had several fish between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 lbs and good short action, the only downfall is we fished rough bottom causing many to get stuck. It is going to be a busy weekend so get down to the boat early and unload then park as the fair is in the harbor taking some of the parking. Sailing every day including holidays on a mixed schedule, so check the web site. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics.

Tues /Weds 7/1 & 2 Fluke report
On Tues we went back to where we caught them on Mon but the drift was not as good and there was a swell. Picked away at the short fluke and sea bass but not like the day before, and the big nice sea bass we threw back, were not there but we did boat almost a limit of them along with some keeper fluke. On the morning trip today we stayed more local but conditions were not good as we picked slowly at short fluke sand skates, dog fish, etc but Chris, here for his birthday, coming with his aunt got his first keeper and the pool. On the afternoon trip we went a different direction and had decent pick on short fluke and a few nice keepers with daily new Frank taking the poo with a 5.2 lb beauty and also got another keeper. Sailing every day including the holiday, just check the time schedule. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics, with today on back.
