Tues 6/23 repeat of Monday

   The morning started off muggy with little wind like Monday, did but then it did pick up. Picked at shorts but not fast and a few keeper fluke showed up here and there. The afternoon also started off slow even though we had good drift. We finally did find an area of fish and picked away shorts and a decent amount of keepers around the boat. Paul Gamboa got his two keepers but a young man got the pool showing his family up. Here are some pics and thanks for looking in.

Mon 6/22 Toasty then nice for birthday girl & grand kids

    The morning heated up quick with no breeze and the humidity climbing, it was sticky. Picked at some short fluke and a couple of keepers then lost the drift with no wind and change of tide. Went to where we had a drift and caught a few more including a king fish. When the breeze picked up we went back to where we started and picked a few more with one young man getting his second keeper fluke as grandpa, who happens to be a good fishermen looked on in awe. Good for him but will he be brought again? Just kidding. On the afternoon trip we had a nice breeze so we drifted better catching more fish, good enough for Bob Caputo to catch his limit of 3 and the pool, with others around the boat in including Christin (in pink) who got her fist keeper for her birthday today. Bob Goodman brought his family and grand daughter got the keeper for the family. Thanks for looking in and hope to see you soon, don't for get to reserve by phone if you are coming.

Sat/Sun report

   We have still been working the same area as the fish are spread out in the bay. Some areas produce decent short action and other areas more keepers but not a lot of action. Sailing two trips every day @ 8 AM and again @ 1:30 PM. We are sill limited to what we can carry so reservations are suggested especially on weekend mornings, but not required. Its only a phone call so why take a chance of not being able to get on.  Hope everyone is well that has not been out yet and thanks for looking in. Here are some pics.

Thurs/Fri 6/18 & 19

    The fishing(catching) slowed up a little the last two days but we are still picking at short fluke and some keepers every trip. Once a while we get a bluefish or weakfish also and still fishing  the calm waters of  Sandy hook bay. Here are a few pics and don't forget to call for reservations especially on weekends. Weds 6/18 Brrr is it June

   The morning started off not too bad but by the afternoon the breeze and clouds and mist picked up which made it quite chilly. It was warm on the dock but not on the water so remember to bring a light jacked or sweatshirt, as the cabin is still off limits for now. Picked at shorts on both trips but fewer keeper fluke than the last few days.  Hassan got the pool again in the afternoon with a 5 lber and my high school class mate Juanilde got her first keeper fluke after only catching shorts every time she went out.
