Thurs 5/12 They're back

     After a poor Tuesday and not making it out on Weds (which was also poor), we got out with another small group on Thursday. Started with bait but could not get them going good so we shot over to where some birds were working and immediately had fish on jigs and even had a couple on bait. Had an excellent first drift to give us more than we wanted to take.  Everyone caught fish, even a mother and daughter team, and went home with what they wanted but it was all blue fish. We squeaked out with a handful in the afternoon, started chumming and waited for the bite.  It didn't happen, only a couple blues here and there each time we moved. We did manage a nice keeper 20+ inch fluke that will be waiting for us next week. This morning looks ok but the afternoon has showers in the forecast so I don't not think enough will show up. Saturday (5/14) we will sail out afternoon trip form 1 PM  to 5:30 PM so get down early. Hope to see you soon, here are a few pics.
