Weds 7/20 report

    We expected to see more on the boat with the lower temps and humidity but had a decent gang.With easterly winds and an upcoming ebb tide,we know we were in trouble to fish the reach. Made a couple of drifts in the bay picking some keepers and a few shorts. Moved to where the tide would be stronger then the wind and picked some more but mostly shorts and some sea robins with an occasional keeper fluke. Looking forward to the afternoon with the better conditions we started in the bay again nailing a few nice keepers and then here comes a ship out the reach. We decided to head to Ambrose channel only to find it rolly and picked at mostly shorts with a slow drift. All in all only a fair day as far as keepers but the short action was ok.
