Went out today with a small group, and other than the roll it was a nice day on the water. Picked away at short sea bass with some keepers mixed in. Also caught a few black fish but also mostly shorts and a trigger fish, but the porgies seem to be MIA. The action was good but the spiny dogfish were annoying at times. Starting on the weekend we will be leaving @ 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM since all the other boats are leaving early and don' t want to leave you standing on the dock.
