We went out this morning, after a few days off, with only a handful of regulars we knew by name. When we got to the grounds it was game on, 3 to 4 on at times, Stripers and BIG blues, to 15+ lbs, all gorged with sand eels and some peanut bunker. Lets face it, everyone wants to catch a striped bass but they do not fight as good as bluefish, pound for pound no comparison. Everyone caught fish and went home with fish, Striped bass to 40+ ", shorts, bonus fish and keepers along with the blues and a hungry keeper black fish that hit a diamond jig. We kept what we wanted and threw the rest back. Back at it tomorrow so hope to see you then as we are still sailing everyday @ 7:30 AM to about 3. Thanks for looking in and here are a few pics.
