Fri 4/14 AM sucked but good PM

    People always ask witch trip is better, but is not always the morning. Today was a perfect example as we had a tough morning, despite the beautiful weather but a pretty good afternoon getting almost a boat limit. Daryl was high hook boating 4 keeper striped bass, and Juanilde caught three but just missing the pool with a 36" beauty. All keeper fish with no shorts or overs. Back at it tomorrow so if you have a choice come in the afternoon, lately seems to be better. Sailing two trips tomorrow and Sunday but not sailing Monday. Tuesday will start a daily, two trip schedule. Thanks for looking in and here are some pics. 

Thurs 4/13 Another late one

 The morning started off slow but we picked a few fish here and there with a nice group of mostly decent fishermen. Super nice weather and fishing close to the dock in the bay. All the fish were keepers except for one short but we did not have the action we expected. Sailing 2 trips tomorrow and the weekend,  from 7:30 to about 12:30 - 1 and again from 1:30 to around 6 PM. Weds 4/12 Grand finale' saved the day

     We sailed with a  small group of novices, all rod rentals except for one, so I knew we had our job cut out. Had some good readings on the first couple of drifts but produced nothing. Tried a few different areas and finally found some fish that we hungry. Danielle caught her first striper ever at 34.5" While another young lady caught 4 but only one keeper. Ended up with a half a limit of keepers and some shorts which I was very grateful for. Back at it tomorrow, sailing at 7:30 AM , morning tip only but two trips Fri thru Sunday. Tues 4/11 New schedule this week

     We are revising our schedule this week still fishing for striped bass. Fishing in the bay, Weds and Thus 4/ 12 & 13 sailing from 7:30 AM to 12:30.  Friday, Sat and Sun 2 trips from 7:30 AM to 12 and 1 PM to 5:30. No reservations needed, cash only. Stiper time on Easter - limited out by 9 AM

     We had a very good day fishing today limiting out by 9 AM, in an hour, and then went on to throw more back than we caught.  Ben took top honors boating ten fish and the pool fish of 38 inches. Daryl had a bigger one at the end but it was over 40", so everyone went home with fish. Taking a few days off to finish some maintenance so keep posted. Not Good Friday and Sat reports

     Had a tough day on Friday but Bob took the pool with no competition. Today was a little better with a few keepers to 38" and a short, but was not good. I think coming off the full moon did not help. Sailing tomorrow, Easter Sunday from 7:30 AM to about 12:30 @ $60 pp for adults. We will then take a few days off to finish up some maintenance and then back at it on Thursday on a regular half day schedule 8 AM - 12:30  and 1:30 to 6 pm. Sailing Fri, Sat and Sunday 4/7 -9 7:30 AM for STRIPERS

          We will start our season but only for 3 days, Friday & Saturday sailing 3/4 day and Half day on Easter Sunday morning from 7:30 to 12:30.  $90 for 3/4 day and $60 for Sunday, cash only.  Spin rods are recommended  or you can rent them on the boat.
