It was a very nice morning with no wind and nice temps. We picked on a long drift that was good enough to stay with - shorts, sea robins, dogfish and a few keepers. Art who the day before had 3 keeper fluke did not get any, but Gary ended up with three keepers and almost the pool, but got beat by a 4 1/2 lber which happened to be the first keeper on the boat. Ended with a decent morning relatively speaking. On the afternoon the southerly winds kicked up so we could not fish where we wanted and picked at shorts etc but only had a couple of keepers for the afternoon. Here are some pics and we are still hanging in there with the fluke untill the end of the fluke season, Sept 25, then switching to half day porgy fishing.
