Mon 5/1 What a difference a trip makes

     We headed out on a nice but cool morning heading to where we have been catching them on clams and came upon the boats half way to the grounds. Fish were up l;but not when we got there but we switched everyone over and had a banner couple of drifts, limiting out by 9:45 AM with 28" keepers. Made a few more drifts and caught some more to release and it was over. We then headed to dunk a few clams and did catch a couple of more. On our afternoon trip we headed to where we left off,  on the clam area since there were no jig fish around, and ... hmmm where did they go. Other then a few bites , misses and a short, it was no good. Forgot the camera so will post pics  later or tom morning. Hope to see you soon with the nice weather coming up and thanks for looking in.
